Laura is now accepting students for the Summer of 2020.

Laura Johnson has been training musicians for about 25 years in the areas of piano, voice, flute, music theory and general instrumental music coaching. Working with budding young artists and watching them develop year after year is one of Laura’s passions. Likewise, she enjoys helping the advanced student move beyond proficiency and toward mastery.

Laura holds a Bachelor degree in music and a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance, both from MSU, and serves as an Adjunct Professor with Spring Arbor University where she shares her love of music and art on the collegiate level. She also teaches Elementary Music at Montessori Radmoor in Okemos, MI. Laura is a distinguished performer (Vocal and Piano), a sought after accompanist, a song-writer and worship leader.

Laura moved to the Mason area and opened New Song Music Studio in the fall of 2016. The studio is now filled with piano, voice and flute students from Mason, Lansing, East Lansing, Dansville, Okemos, Leslie, Owosso and Grand Blanc.
